Be sure to attend the Knight Arts Challenge Town Hall Meeting on March 14 at the Little Haiti Cultural Center! Ask all your questions, get tips and hints about applying, meet some of the people from the Knight Foundation, and tell them HOW MUCH YOU LOVE LIFE IS ART!

The Knight Arts Challenge is a low-paperwork grant program. You do not have to be a 501(c)3 non-profit to apply. They fund anyone from individuals up to mega-establishments. Anyone can apply. Anyone. All you need is a cool idea.

To apply, all you need to do is fill out a short form describing your idea. Then, if you are chosen for the semi-finals, they work with you on creating a full pitch for the final round.

IF YOU HAVE A COOL IDEA TO PROMOTE THE ARTS IN SOUTH FLORIDA, YOU SHOULD APPLY!

Yes, I yelled that. Do not be scared. Do not be lazy. It is so easy to apply. It only takes a few minutes. DO IT!

And, please join us at the Little Haiti Cultural Arts Center on Wednesday, March 14 at 6pm. Life Is Art has applied every year for more money to help you, the arts, and south Florida. Come by and support! We would love to see you there. Plus, you will gain some useful knowledge and get inspired to put in your own idea!
