Life Is Art OFFICIAL Call For Artists – The BIG Fundraiser – Deadline May 8, 2011
For over two years, Life Is Art has been producing events to promote and support the arts in south Florida. We have produced dozens of events: showcases, networkers, seminars, art shows and art fairs. And we have done all these entirely without any outside funding, just the revenue we get from these events.
But now, we would like to expand to larger events, and I am sure you would like us to, as well. Larger shows means more chances to show and sell your work. To that end, we have teamed up with the PARK Project to host our first-ever fundraiser! Money raised from this event will go to support the arts and community. This event is also sponsored by SocialBuzzTV and SocialMedia305.
Make no mistake; this is going to be another fun-filled event, just like all of our previous. It will include art and music and fashion and performance, as well as beverages and refreshments. But, unlike many fundraisers, we are not charging a few hundred dollars entry. We are about access for everyone. The cost of entry will be under $20. This is going to be a party for all.
As usual, we are showcasing artwork based on a juried open call. As always, there is NO fee to apply. In addition to visual artists, we are also looking for musical artists, performers, dancers, poets, fashion designers and all other creative types. We are also looking for donations for raffle items.
This event is taking place in the spectacular pool area of the Surfcomber Hotel in Miami Beach. If you have not seen it, they have a beautiful lawn behind the pool, with bar, a stage and a view of the ocean. This is a wonderful place to have a party.

Are you going to have vendors also? I am interested in vending at this event. I sell handmade and vintage accessories.
What is one submission is a tryptich or a set of 4 or 5 smaller images framed together?
I would like to know if ceramic jewelry is allowed to sell in this event. My pieces are all made of ceramic. but is just jewelry. Please let me know.
