Call For Artist:
Gab Studio is looking for talented individuals to show there art work during the Second Saturday Art Walks in the Wynwood District. Gab Studio is located at 105 northwest 23 street in the heart of the Wynwood District where the old Locust Project use to be. We provide wall space for each artist and lighting as well. We provide beer and wine during the show and email blast 2,000 people every month promoting the show. The email list grows every month with each new show we receive and average of 100 emails. The show starts at 7 pm and ends usually around 11 pm. We bring in 300 to 400 people on average per show so your work really gets seen. We also provide a Artist sheet which gives a Bio, portrait and displays a work of art. The art can hang for the full month allowing you to bring a potential customers to come and see your work for a private viewing and be seen by people coming to the gallery during the week.

I am very interested and would like nothing more than to show you my work. I will try calling the gallery tomorrow to speak with you and schedule a time so we can meet and bring in my work. I went to film school in NY. Then moved back to Venezuela where I have worked in film, video and contemporary art. I have recently moved to Miami with my wife and 2 year old daughter. I have spent the past few years focusing more on three dimensional works (assemblage, collage, mixed-media), rather than on the moving image. Hopefully you can help me in developing and showing my work. It’s always been difficult for me to show anyone what I do. I’m hard on myself and maybe overly critical, protective and shy about my work. But I realize its time to show someone with the right experience and a keen and critical eye, that can be honest and objective in evaluating and reviewing my work. I have a lot to share and I’m eager to express myself. Please let me know if you are interested. I would love to speak with you more about myself. Hopefully I’m not to late, it looks like the post date is FEB 8th.
